About the Speaker: 

Stacia White currently works at Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach as a lead on conservation research and on the leadership team for Ripley’s Husbandry staff. Stacia is an alumnus of Coastal Carolina University where she earned her degree in marine science and has been a part of the animal care team at Ripley’s for twenty years. During her time, she tagged and collected specimens right off our coast. She also helped lead Ripley’s team for the first sand tiger pup born and bred in managed care using artificial insemination and the first overall of North America. Her expertise is not limited to sand tigers. Stacia also has a deep love for sawfish, of which Ripley’s has three.
