Join Our Nights of a Thousand Candles Team! 🕯️ Seasonal Hires Wanted!

Are you ready to be a part of something truly magical this holiday season? Brookgreen Gardens is gearing up for our largest and most spectacular fundraising event of the year, "Nights of a Thousand Candles," and we need YOUR help to make it merry and bright! 🎄

Restroom Attendants Needed: Join us in creating a festive atmosphere for our guests by ensuring clean and welcoming rest areas. As a restroom attendant, you'll play a vital role in keeping the holiday spirit alive throughout the event. Spread cheer, maintain cleanliness, and be a friendly face in the crowd.

Parking Attendants Wanted: Help us light the way for our guests! We're looking for parking attendants who can assist in directing traffic and providing directions to our merry visitors. Your warm welcome and guidance will set the tone for their enchanting evening.

Event Dates: Join us on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings beginning November 25th. Event Hours: 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM (hours may vary).

Full-Time Positions:

Manager of Philanthropy: The Manager of Philanthropy builds crucial connections between Brookgreen Gardens and its supporters through portfolio management, strategic communication, and event coordination. Responsibilities also include optimizing gift acknowledgement and data analysis practices.

Horticulturist: Elevate our landscapes as the Horticulturist, responsible for achieving and maintaining the highest horticultural quality in a designated garden area. Your expertise ensures that all plantings flourish at the peak of perfection.

Gardener:  Entry level position supporting our Horticulture staff and gardens by assisting with trimming, weeding, watering and assisting in plantscape designs.

On days of Nights of a Thousand Candles, we are open for the event only 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Closed Christmas Day

For their safety and the safety of our animal collection, pets are not allowed, nor can they be left in vehicles inside Brookgreen. Service animals that have received special training to assist disabled persons are welcome.

Children 4-12: $12
