Public Exhibits Associate (SEASONAL Aug-Feb 2025)

Join our team and be a part of Brookgreen Gardens' most magical event of the year, Nights of a Thousand Candles! We are looking for enthusiastic FT/PT seasonal installers to help create stunning light displays that transform our gardens into a winter wonderland. Starting in August and running through February, you'll be at the heart of the action, bringing joy and wonder to thousands of visitors.

 Full-Time Positions:

Controller

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is crucial for upholding our organization's financial well-being. The Controller will maintain robust internal controls, ensuring transparency, consistency, and continuous process improvement. Full job description and how to apply. 

Database and Gift Processing Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Philanthropy and Membership teams. Responsibilities include managing our confidential database, overseeing gift entry and acknowledgments, and ensuring efficient processing of information and payments.

Safety Officer (2nd Shift)
Join us as a full-time Safety Officer with hours from 2 PM to 10 PM, Thursday through Monday. Responsibilities include routine patrols, acting as a first responder to injuries, monitoring security systems, and identifying safety hazards. CPR certification and basic OSHA knowledge are preferred.

Manager of Nature Education
The Coordinator for Nature Education Development is responsible for curriculum development and the delivery of school-related and public programs. This role focuses on engaging teachers, children, and scout groups, ensuring that our nature education programs are effective and aligned with educational standards.

 

Part-Time Positions:

Coordinator of Outreach Programs

This part-time role will lead campus-wide outreach efforts, including educational programs and community engagement initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement a variety of enriching programs.

Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM | Daily

Gates close at 4:30 PM. For their safety and the safety of our animal collection, pets are not allowed, nor can they be left in vehicles inside Brookgreen. Service animals that have received special training to assist disabled persons are welcome.
