Full-Time Positions:

Plant Production Coordinator: We are seeking a dedicated and career-minded Plant Production Coordinator to support our plant production efforts and greenhouse operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone passionate about horticulture, plant propagation, and conservation. The Plant Production Coordinator plays a key part in growing seasonal plants for garden displays, plant sales, and special events—helping to keep our Gardens vibrant year-round. Responsibilities include daily greenhouse care, managing volunteers, supporting conservation projects, and maintaining the quality and health of Brookgreen’s living collections.

Qualified candidates will have at least two years of greenhouse or nursery experience, strong plant knowledge, and the ability to work outdoors in seasonal conditions. A horticulture degree and experience with greenhouse systems are preferred.

 

Part-Time Positions:

Guest Services Associate: Join our team as a Guest Services Associate and help create a warm, welcoming experience for every visitor. This frontline role provides exceptional customer service, helpful information, and ticketing support while representing Brookgreen Gardens with courtesy and professionalism. Ideal candidates enjoy engaging with the public, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, visitor-focused environment: weekend and holiday availability required.

Pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background checks, is required. Driver's license and credit checks may also be required.

Hours

Hours: Monday & Tuesday 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Wednesday - Sunday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM 

For daytime admission, gates close at 4:30 PM. For their safety and the safety of our animal collection, pets are not allowed, nor can they be left in vehicles inside Brookgreen. Service animals that have received special training to assist disabled persons are welcome.

Children 3 and under: Free

Children 4-12: $14

Adults 13-64: $25
