Full-Time Positions:

Controller
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is crucial for upholding our organization's financial well-being. The Controller will maintain robust internal controls, ensuring transparency, consistency, and continuous process improvement.

Database and Gift Processing Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Philanthropy and Membership teams. Responsibilities include managing our confidential database, overseeing gift entry and acknowledgments, and ensuring efficient processing of information and payments.

Public Exhibits Associate
Learn lighting techniques for Nights of a Thousand Candles, Summer Light: Art by Night, and other exhibits. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electrical lighting and candle displays, using ladders and boom lifts safely.

Safety Officer (2nd Shift)
Join us as a full-time Safety Officer with hours from 2 PM to 10 PM, Thursday through Monday. Responsibilities include routine patrols, acting as a first responder to injuries, monitoring security systems, and identifying safety hazards. CPR certification and basic OSHA knowledge are preferred.

Mechanic
We are looking for a Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service all landscaping equipment and machinery, including mowers, tractors, and golf carts. Extensive knowledge of engine mechanics, a high school diploma or GED, three years of experience, and a valid South Carolina driver’s license are required.

 

Part-Time Positions:

Coordinator of Outreach Programs
This part-time role will lead campus-wide outreach efforts, including educational programs and community engagement initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement a variety of enriching programs.

For their safety and the safety of our animal collection, pets are not allowed, nor can they be left in vehicles inside Brookgreen. Service animals that have received special training to assist disabled persons are welcome.
