Historic Interpreter: Join Brookgreen Gardens as a part-time Historical Interpreter and help bring our stories to life. This engaging, guest-facing role is perfect for enthusiastic storytellers who love connecting with people and sparking curiosity. Whether guiding guests by boat or through the woods in open-air tour vehicles, you’ll share the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of the Lowcountry—rain or shine.
This part-time position requires flexibility, with a schedule of at least three full days per week (preferably four), up to 28 hours, including weekends and holidays. Ideal candidates are confident communicators with public-facing experience, enjoy working outdoors, and are comfortable driving large vehicles. A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid South Carolina driver’s license are required.
