Philip Simmons Artist Blacksmith Guild, with Pat Walters and Ed Lawson
The ancient art of blacksmithing is still practiced today. Join blacksmiths Pat and Ed as they demonstrate their talents by keeping an old art alive. The gates in our Palmetto garden were designed by the famous Charleston blacksmith Philip Simmons who mentored the South Carolina Artist Blacksmith Association at its start in 1994. The gates were then created by Walter Hill.
Demo will be set up at the back of the Leonard Pavilion.
