Brookgreen Gardens is a winner in the 2023 USA TODAY 10Best Readers' Choice travel award contest for Best Botanical Garden

Brookgreen Gardens was recognized as one of the top ten Best Botanical Gardens in the country by USA TODAY Reader's Choice Travel Awards.

A panel of experts (listed below) partnered with 10Best editors to pick the initial 20 nominees, and the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote

Brookgreen ranked seventh out of the 10 best botanical gardens for 2023 and also appeared on this list in 2022 and 2018.

Closed Christmas Day

For their safety and the safety of our animal collection, pets are not allowed, nor can they be left in vehicles inside Brookgreen. Service animals that have received special training to assist disabled persons are welcome.
