Watch out! There are all sorts of creatures and plants that can potentially harm you while having fun in the woods or at the beach! Ever worry about poison ivy, jellyfish, stingrays, snakes, sharks, or other scary animals? This informative program will uncover some of the myths and help you identify some potential dangers and ways to avoid them while still appreciating and enjoying the great outdoors. 

About the Speaker: 

Ann Malys Wilson has been the Interpretive Ranger at Myrtle Beach State Park since 1994. She oversees educational programs and resource management. She enjoys spending time outdoors- especially when she encounters snakes, jellyfish, sharks, stingrays or spiders!!!
