Pull up a chair, pour a cup of tea, and make space for creativity. The Creative Table is Brookgreen Gardens’ new quarterly lunch-and-learn series where makers gather in a relaxed, communal outdoor setting at the Leonard Pavilion to create, connect, and share.
Participants are encouraged to bring a creative project of their own, something portable you can comfortably work on during the session. Whether it’s embroidery, drawing, knitting, journaling, small-scale sculpting, printmaking, or any other hands-on work, this meet-up offers dedicated time and space to create alongside fellow makers.
Each session includes a warm welcome, a rotating selection of teas from the Brookgreen Gift Shop, and an informal conversation about techniques and processes. It’s an easygoing atmosphere where makers can work independently, share ideas, or simply enjoy the creative energy around the table.

A session celebrating creative beginnings. Makers are invited to bring any project they’ve recently started or have been wanting to begin. Perfect for sketching new concepts, testing materials, or restarting projects that have been waiting for attention.
This series is led by Natalie C. Jones, artist and Vice President of Creative Education at Brookgreen Gardens. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.
