About the Speaker: 

Kaela Miller is the Plant Collections Coordinator at Brookgreen Gardens and a former Zoo Horticulturist with a deep-rooted passion for conservation and education. With undergraduate degrees in marine science and biology, along with a graduate degree in teaching, she brings a dynamic perspective to the relationship between plants and wildlife. Her expertise in conservation ecology drives her commitment to native plants and their vital role in sustaining healthy ecosystems. Kaela’s work bridges the gap between horticulture and habitat preservation, making her an invaluable resource for those eager to learn about the natural world.
