About the Speaker
Dale Threatt-Taylor is Executive Director of The Nature Conservancy’s South Carolina Chapter, where she leads conservation efforts focused on land protection, coastal resilience, healthy forests, freshwater restoration, climate mitigation, and sustainability partnerships.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation from North Carolina State University and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University. A nationally recognized conservation leader, Dale has served on numerous environmental boards and made history as Chair of the Soil and Water Conservation Society’s national Board of Directors. Her honors include North Carolina’s prestigious Order of the Long Leaf Pine and the Hugh Hammond Bennett Award for extraordinary accomplishments in natural resource conservation.
