Brookgreen Gardens Labor Day 5K

Lowcountry Zoo Parking will close at 3 PM for this event.

The Zoo will close at 5 PM, and the shuttle will run from the main Gardens.

Join NS PROMOS for the 5th Annual Brookgreen Gardens Labor Day 5K or choose the virtual option for those unable to join us in person. We are excited to partner once again with the beautiful, historic Brookgreen Gardens. Brookgreen Gardens is a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve, located just south of Murrells Inlet, in South Carolina. The 9,100-acre property features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, the Lowcountry Zoo, and trails that traverse various ecosystems within the nature reserves on the site.

Race Information:

• Race participants and guests may enter Brookgreen at 4:30 pm
• Entry into Brookgreen closes at 5:40pm-please arrive prior to this
• No water stop on the course
• Runners and walkers are all WELCOME!
• No dogs are allowed on the Brookgreen Gardens property.
• Animals are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification
• Baby joggers, baby strollers, skateboards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles, or any other wheeled device are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification
• Gun timing is used for overall awards
• Chip timing is used for age group awards
• Post-race snacks and water provided by Food Lion

Race Swag:

• Participant shirt
• Race Bib
• Custom-designed Made in the USA medal
• Complimentary entry for Brookgreen Gardens at a later date (some blackout dates apply)
• Virtual race swag will be mailed within 2 weeks post-race

Registration:

• Registration is only available online
• Registration closes Sunday, August 31, at 4 pm
• Participants are strongly encouraged to pick up the packet on Saturday to avoid long lines on race day

Packet Pickup Information:

• Saturday, August 30 from 4:00-5:30 pm at Native Sons (1519 Executive Ave, MB)
• Sunday, August 31 from 4 -5:40 pm at Brookgreen Gardens (1931 Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet)

Parking:

• Participants and their guests are allowed entrance at 4 pm on race day
• Entrance gates close at 5:40 pm

Restrooms:

• Port-o-Potties will be available near the finish line
• Restrooms are available across from the finish line
