Join N.S. Promos and Brookgreen Gardens for the Brookgreen Gardens Labor Day 5K! We are excited to partner again with the beautiful, historic Brookgreen Gardens. Brookgreen Gardens is a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve located south of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. The 9,100-acre property includes several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, the Lowcountry Zoo, and trails through several ecosystems in nature reserves on the property.

Race Information:

  • No water stop on the course
  • Strollers, runners, and walkers are all WELCOME!
  • No dogs allowed on Brookgreen Gardens property
  • Gun timing used for overall awards
  • Chip timing used for age group awards

Race Swag:

  • Tri-blend participant shirt (guaranteed if registered by August 19)
  • Custom-designed Made in the USA medal
  • Complimentary entry for Brookgreen Gardens at a later date (some blackout dates apply)


  • Registration is only available online
  • Registration closes Sunday, September 3 at 3:00 pm
  • Participants are strongly encouraged to pick up packets on Saturday to avoid long lines on race day

Packet Pickup Information:

  • Saturday, September 2 from 4:30-7:00 pm at Native Sons (1519 Executive Avenue, MB)
  • Sunday, September 3 from 5:00-5:45 pm at Brookgreen Gardens (1931 Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet)


  • Plenty of parking in the main lot-follow the signs
  • Be prepared to show your race bib or confirmation email upon entering the Gardens
  • Visitors are allowed to come with you at no cost


  • Port-o-Potties will be available with hand-washing stations


  • Overall Male and Female 1,2,3 place (provided by Black Dog Running Company)
  • Overall Masters Male and Female 1 place (provided by Black Dog Running Company)
  • Overall Grand Masters Male and Female 1 place (provided by Black Dog Running Company)
  • Age Groups Male and Female 1,2,3, place
  • 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, and continue 5 year increments to 80 and above
