Rosa 'Belinda's Dream' was bred by Dr. Robert E. Basye and is a cross between Rosa 'Tiffany' and R. 'Jersey Beauty. It is considered a shrub rose. Rosa 'Belinda's Dream' has the coveted designation of being an Earth-Kind® Rose, meaning it has superior disease resistance and is an excellent landscape plant.

Our experience has been that this is a tough rose that performs well, but also has a tendency to suffer from Botrytis Blight in our area. Botrytis Blight is a fungal problem that can cause the flowers, buds, and leaves to develop a gray and fuzzy appearance over them, similar looking to wet paper. This is not a critical issue and is easily remedied by simply removing the infected plant material and disposing of it to limit its spread to the rest of the rose, or other roses nearby.
