It is our experience that Ocimum basilicum 'Everleaf Emerald Towers' performs well in our area. We observed this to be one of the best green leaf basils we have grown. It was found to be more compact and less bushy than other pesto type basils. At the end of the growing season, the habit becomes sparse as it drops its lower leaves.
