It has been our experience that Erysimum linifolium (SunStrong™ Bicolor Purple) performs well in our area in a cool season planting. It was observed to grow best in containers, but it also appeared to do well in the ground. This may be grown best with some protection, as it was observed to be negatively affected by a short cold snap, but did seem to rebound from it. Additionally, the flowering was observed to be generally consistent throughout the cool season planting, including in the winter. It is about eighteen inches tall and about eight to twelve inches wide.
