It has been our experience that Dianthus chinensis × barbatus 'PAS69818' (Ideal Select™ White) performs well in our area in a cool season planting. It may get leggy in the winter, so it is recommended that it is planted with something else to help hide its long stems. It has also been observed to flower in the fall and benefits from being cut back to encourage repeat flowering in the late winter or early spring. It is about six to eight inches tall.
