Crocus angustifolius
Crocus angustifolius is a corm that typically flowers in late winter or early spring. Once it has flowered and the leaves have died down to the ground, it no longer has an above ground presence until the following year. It grows three to six inches tall. It is hardy in USDA Zones 3 - 8.
It is identified by its fragrant, golden yellow flowers with long, pointed petals. The outside of the petals are dark brown and striped.
