It has been our experience that Brassica oleracea [Ornamental Cabbage And Kale Group] Crane™ White performs well in our area in cool season plantings. It can grow to reach about two and a half feet tall in height. Due to its long, bare stem, staging a planting in front of it can help to create a more aesthetically pleasing design. Additionally, it can be cut back to encourage more to grow out. We believe this is best when intermixed into a planting as individual specimens, versus as a group or mass planting.
