Join us for a Watercolor Workshop where participants will learn, through guided instruction and hands-on practice, the art of simplifying complex forms. Participants will also harness color temperature to breathe life into their creations, mastering the delicate dance between light and shadow to evoke the illusion of depth and space.

As the workshop unfolds, each participant is encouraged to bring their own vision to life, selecting their preferred painting reference from a curated collection of images. From serene landscapes to intricate botanical studies, every choice serves as a canvas for personal expression and artistic exploration. Alternatively, for those enamored with the enchanting vistas of Brookgreen Gardens, the option to utilize photographs captured within the verdant grounds adds an extra layer of connection to the natural world.

He explores a wide range of media from 2-D to 3-D, with concentrations in drawing, painting, and ceramics/sculpture. He received his BA from Coastal Carolina University and his master's from the University of South Carolina.
