Can I bring my pet to Brookgreen Gardens?
No, for your pet's safety and the safety of our zoo collection, we do not allow pets in Brookgreen Gardens. Service Animals are welcome. Pets also cannot be left in cars.
We have partnered with a local doggie day-cares that will be glad to take care of your pet while you visit.
Service animals that have received special training to assist disabled persons are welcome in the Gardens.

Are picnics allowed?
We have two designated picnic areas where you may picnic.
Are you handicapped accessable?
Do you have wheelchairs available for rent?
We do not have wheelchairs, but we do offer push behind adult strollers for free on a first-come first-serve basis. Be advised that due to the size, these strollers are not allowed inside the indoor galleries or Welcome Center, and will not fit in our handicapped accessable restrooms.
The adult strollers are not meant to replace a wheelchair, they are simply to be assistance for those who may need help walking the distances necessary to fully experience Brookgreen Gardens.
Guests who require a wheelchair or other mobility equipment should bring their own.
The following companies provide wheelchair and scooter rentals. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are welcome in all Brookgreen Gardens venues
Is there parking for RVs?
Yes, we have a designated area for RVs.
Can we have our family/engagement/pregnancy/senior/prom photos taken at Brookgreen?
Commercial photography is not allowed in the gardens. Photo shoots are not allowed so as not to interrupt the enjoyment of the gardens by our guests.
