Brookgreen Gardens will host “Children’s Activity Days” on Thursday through Saturday, August 1-3 and 8-10.

Families will enjoy a fun-filled event that brings literacy into the science lab. From making slime to exploring bird beak adaptations, learners of all ages will read, engage, and prepare make-and-take crafts in Learning Lab 1 of the E. Craig Wall, Jr., Lowcountry Center, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..

Join us in the Enchanted Storybook Forest at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. for a read aloud by a beloved children’s book character. From Snow White to the Cat in The Hat, we are sure you won’t want to miss that!

A representative from New York Life Insurance will be available on August 2, 3, 9, and 10 from 10 a.m. - 2p.m. to make FREE Child ID cards for those in attendance for our Children's Activity Day. They will be located in Learning Lab 1.

Children must be accompanied by adults. Included with garden admission.
