Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park are homes to a large variety of bird life. This workshop will teach the best tips and techniques for photographing birds of the Lowcountry. Topics covered will be exposure, making sharp images, composition, backgrounds, controlling depth of field, and camera and lens choices. Also, some post-processing of RAW image files in Photoshop to show how to make the most out of your images! Instructed by George DeCamp and Anne Malarich.
A morning lecture will be followed by and afternoon session on work techniques in the field at Brookgreen Gardens. A box lunch will be included.

Members $45, non-members $60.
Equipment needed: Camera, lens, tripod, extra batteries. We recommend a telephoto lens (300mm to 500mm) or a good equivalent zoom lens and a converter, if you have one. Please wear muted colors. Tripods are a plus but not a requirement.
