On occasions, we receive calls to rescue animals or for information on where to take injured animals. At Brookgreen Gardens, though we are considered to be an animal sanctuary, we cannot go out and retrieve or rescue all the injured animals in the area. We take in ones that we think could have a future home with our collection. For your information, if an injured animals is found, ARK Animal Hospital in Surfside can treat wild animals.
