Acer palmatum 'Bloodgood' is a small, deciduous tree that grows to about fifteen to twenty feet tall and wide. It is hardy in USDA Zones 5 - 8. It is best planted in full sun to part shade.

'Bloodgood' is in the Amoenum Group. It has attractive deep red to purple leaves. The foliage is deeply divided. It has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
