Filming & Photography Policy Informal "vacation style" picture taking and home videos are permitted throughout the gardens. Please be courteous and do not block access to gardens or pathways at any time. Due to safety concerns, tripods are not allowed during our holiday festival, Nights of a Thousand Candles. No commercial filming, professional photography, or painting are permitted. Lights, reflectors, props, costumes, and models are prohibited. Photography, videos, and paintings for personal use only are permissible.
Bridal Portrait Photography We offer a limited number of one-hour bridal portrait appointments for members of Brookgreen Gardens. The appointment must be made at least one week in advance by calling (843) 235-6017. The site fee for bridal portraits is $200 in addition to the cost of your membership. Bridal portraits are only allowed in the lawn and area surrounding the Holliday Cottage. As a courtesy to our visitors, bridal portraits are not allowed in the sculpture garden or other highly visible and visited areas of Brookgreen.
