Adopt An Animal or Sculpture Program

A favorite way to honor someone special and to support Brookgreen Gardens is with our Adopt An Animal/Adopt A Sculpture Program.

You probably have a favorite animal or work of sculpture that is the highlight of your visit to Brookgreen. Consider adopting it!  Anyone can adopt an animal or sculpture, and we have adoption levels from $50 per year to $1000 or more! Every adoption receives a benefit package outlined below. They make wonderful gifts for birthdays, holidays, or other special occasions.

$50 Adoption Level

Includes a certificate of adoption, a picture and a fact sheet of the animal or sculpture. Animal choices include -white ibis, black-crowned night heron

or Dominique chicken. Sculpture choices include Sancho Panza, Samson and the Lion, Diving Eagle or Dionysus.

$100 Adoption Level

Includes a certificate of adoption, a picture and a fact sheet of the animal or sculpture and a Brookgreen mug.

Animal choices include the red devon cow, tunis sheep, wood duck or wild turkey.

Sculpture choices include Diana, Sea Urchin, Gazelle Fountain or Wind on the Water.

$250 Adoption Level

Includes a certificate of adoption, a picture and a fact sheet of the animal or sculpture and a Brookgreen mug.

Animal choices include red fox, gray fox, great horned owl, barred owl, red-tailed hawk or red-shouldered hawk.

Sculpture choices include Spirit of American Youth, Frog Baby, High Tide, Diana of the Chase or Riders of the Dawn.

$500 Adoption Level

Includes a certificate of adoption, a picture and a fact sheet of the animal or sculpture, a Brookgreen mug, and two guest passes.

Animal choices include a marsh-tacky horse, mule, American alligator or white-tailed deer. Sculpture choices include Don Quixote, Heron, Grouse and Loon, In Memory of the Workhorse, Youth Taming the Wild or Pegasus.

$1000 Adoption Level

Includes a certificate of adoption, a picture and a fact sheet of the animal or sculpture, a Brookgreen mug, two guest passes, a personal tour (up to five guests) with the Curator of Animals or the Curator of Sculpture. Animal choices include the North American river otter or the southern bald eagle. Sculpture choices include Fighting Stallions or Fountain of the Muses.
