Center Garden

Of all the sculpture found in the Center Garden the best known is Dionysus, by Edward McCartan. Immediately recognized as one of the most spectacular works in the sculpture collection, it stands glistening and golden at the end of the Oak Alle. A panther accompanies Dionysus, the god of wine, which according to ancient texts, was a part of his wild entourage.
