Patrick Dougherty - Sculpture Installation

When:
Friday, February 2, 2018 to Friday, February 23, 2018

Internationally acclaimed artist Patrick Dougherty is bringing his unique environmental art to Brookgreen in February 2018.  From its beginnings in North Carolina, Dougherty's work and its impact have reached across the United States and across the oceans as far as Japan, the UK, The Netherlands and Italy, to name a few.

From February 2 – Feb 23, 2018 Dougherty will be in residence at Brookgreen creating a sculpture made of saplings, sticks, vines and twigs.  The public will be able to watch as this installation comes together and the finished sculpture will be part of the Brookgreen landscape for as long as it stands.
