About the Speaker:
With over 24 years of experience in wildlife biology, Mary-Catherine Martin specializes in the management of nesting Least Terns as part of the SC Department of Natural Resources Coastal Bird Project. Her career began with sea turtle nest management, transitioned to freshwater fisheries, and ultimately led her back to her true passion—birds. Today, her primary focus is on the conservation and management of seabirds and shorebirds along the South Carolina coast.
