Songs of Faith, Hope & Freedom

Rozlyn Sorrell will present Songs of Faith, Hope & Freedom for Brookgreen Gardens’ Black History Month observance on Saturday, February 22, at 1:00 p.m., in the Wall Lowcountry Center Auditorium.  The program is free with Garden admission. To reserve seating, call 843-235-6049.

Acclaimed vocalist Rozlyn Sorrell, of Garner, NC, shares the path from slavery to freedom through song. From traditional a cappella spirituals and gospel favorites to contemporary standards from the realms of jazz, pop and country, the music and informative narrative guide the listener through an inspirational and uplifting journey.
