Operations Update

Update Monday 3-16-2020

As cases of COVID-19 continue to escalate, Brookgreen Gardens will take the following precautions to protect the health and safety of our members, guests, volunteers, and staff.

Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday 3/17/2020 the following will close:

• All interior art and history galleries
• Azalea Restaurant
• The Gardener’s Cottage Ticket and Information Center
• The Children’s Discovery Room
• Keepsakes Museum Store
• All programming will be postponed until a later date 
• All excursions (Creek, Trekker, and The Oaks) will not run
• The shuttle will not be running

Since they are outdoor dining venues, the Courtyard Café and The Old Kitchen will remain open at this time.

As primarily an outdoor venue with ample fresh air to breathe, Brookgreen Gardens continues to be a great place to go to find respite, solace, and peace during these uncertain times. We encourage our visitors to practice social distancing techniques by staying at least 6 feet away from other guests. We will continue to observe our normal operating hours of 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. until further notice.

In support of our local community, our ticket prices will temporarily change to $10 for adults and $5 for children effective 3/17/2020.

We will resume normal operations as soon as we are safely able to do so per government recommendations.
