The Animals at Brookgreen Gardens live in or near the only zoo accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) on the coast of North and South Carolina. They are amazing!

Take an interactive tour and see some of the animals with our Interactive Zoo Cards. Just click on the animals below and watch a video clip of animals living in their habitats or learning enrichment activities and learn fun facts about them. Print a copy of the Zoo Card Pop Quiz and answer the questions to test your awareness. The animal keeper’s remarks on each video will help you to answer the questions correctly. Ask your parents to join the fun and listen with you. It won’t be hard!

When you visit Brookgreen Gardens, plan to bring a printed copy of your completed Zoo Card Pop Quiz to the daily “Meet the Animals” Program. If you have the correct answers, you will win a prize!

Visit Keepsakes, the Brookgreen Shop to learn about and purchase our six (6) sets of “The Animals at Brookgreen Gardens” Zoo Cards. Each colorful card features information about Habitat, Family Fact, Food, Fun Fact, and a “What Brookgreen Animal Am I?” identifier. Six sets highlight 34 animals.
