| Description |
A round (1 1/4 inch diameter) bronze medal attached to a rainbow-striped silk ribbon (1 1/2 x 1- 3/8 inch) with a pin bar. The obverse depcits a robed angel with a sheild and sword. The reverse depicts a sheild emblazoned with "US" and framed with the names of the 13 victorious countries and inscribed across the top: " The Great War for Civilization." The medal is accompanied by the origainal box from the Art Medal Works Inc., Neward, NJ, dated March 27, 1920. |
