"Palmetto Garden Gate" (South) by Philip Simmons
This gate, set between two brick pillars, features a "circle scroll" design in the center. Below and to each side of the center circle, the ironwork is consists of flat bars. At the top of the gate a large "S" runs from the center to the edge. This arrangement of scrolls is commonly used in Phillips Simmon's gates. |
