"Standing Colt" (Wax model) by Charlotte Dunwiddie
Note: This wax model was used to cast a bronze sculpture, under the supervision of Sandy Scott, that was auctioned in the 2001 Curator's Auction. The wax was "lost" in the casting process and no longer exists. A second cast of this sculpture, marked "AP" (Artist's Proof), was placed in Keepsakes to be used as a "model" from which orders could be taken for sale. In 2003, it was sold by the staff in Keepsakes because the buyer did not want to wait for a casting to be made. |
