| Description |
"Len Ganeway" by Derek Wernher
Figure/male/farmer/bench/newspaper
"An old farmer clad in shirt, overalls, work boots and hat is seated on an outdoor bench. He holds a newspaper open in front of him, his gaze directed toward the paper. The farmer's worn hat is pushed back on his head, his longsleeved shirt is rolled up to each elbow, and his feet are planted firmly on the ground. The face, with a moustache and hooded, pouchy eyes, has the wrinkled skin of a person accustomed to outdoor work. Clothing and accessory details, such as a pen in his chest poscket, a wristwatch on his left arm and the L.L Bean duck shoes, add to the realistic effect." (Salmon 163) |
