| Description |
"Seated Faun" by Janet Scudder
"A smiling young faun is seated, playing the double pipes. Little horns spring from the brow between unruly tufts of hair. The goat hoofs are crossed, and the end of a skin thrown over the seat is draped across one thigh. The childish form is smoothly modeled, the hair treated in a decorative linear manner." ("Brookgreen Gardens Sculpture", Beatrice Gilman Proske, 1968).
