| Description |
"Sea Horse" by Joseph Kiselewski
"A fabulous creature with the head and shoulders of a horse and flippers for legs rides forward on the crest of a wave. The body is gracefully curved, the front flippers raised, and the mouth open in a trumpet shape. The smooth curves and flowing lines of the rounded body convey an impression of easy motion. This work, modeled at New York , was completed in 1937. Four copies were placed in pools as fountains by the Radio Corporation of America at the New York World's Fair of 1939." ( "Brookgreen Gardens Sculpture", Beatrice Gilman Proske, 1968).
