Figure/animal/bird/goose
"The goose has its head raised and beak open. The long neck curves slightly backward over the heavy body. The wing feathers are laid in a smooth pattern, and the others are slightly indicated on the rough surface. This is the same model used for the one accompanying the 'Goose Girl', placed in Radio City Music Hall, New York, 1932." ("Brookgreen Gardens Sculpture", Beatrice Gilman Proske, 1968). |
