"With both arms raised in blessing, an angel is stepping forward. An ample cloak is thrown over the slightly bowed head and wrapped around the form, falling in a loose fold over one shoulder and standing out in a wide curve behind the other arm. Great soft-feathered wings spread in a tender sweep behind outstretched arms." (Proske 20)
