"Great Dane" by Anna Hyatt Huntington. One of a pair.
Animal/dog/great dane/pride
"Another dog is also seated with the forefeet together, but the muzzle is lowered and the ears are laid back. The collar is buckled at the back. Earlier versions of these two statues were exhibited at the National Academy of Design in 1909 and at the Paris 'Salon' in 1911" ("Brookgreen gardens Sculpture", Beatrice Gilman Proske, 1968).
