Society’s 75th Annual Awards Exhibition opened June 27 in the Rainey Sculpture Pavilio=
n at
Brookgreen Gardens. This juried show includes the work =
of 41
prominent sculptors from across the country, including 15 prize-winning wor=
ks
and will be on display through August 23. During the course of the exhibit,
visitors will be able to vote for their favorite sculptures to win Brookgreen Gardens’ People’s Choi=
ce
Award. Announcement of the winner is made during a celebration on August 22=
.The
exhibition is free with regular garden admission.
The National Sculpture Society was the first organization of professi=
onal
sculptors formed in the United
States whose purpose is to "spread =
the
knowledge of good sculpture". Today, NSS continues to encourage excell=
ence
in sculpture throughout the United

Brookgreen Gardens is a non-profit corporation and a Natio=
