The Friends of Brookgreen Gardens Present Derby Day in the Gardens
Ladies in grand hats and gentlemen in seersucker will be welcomed with chilled mint juleps and bluegrass music. The Live Oak Allée near the Pavilion Restaurant will be lined with white peaked canopies to provide the setting for this delightful evening of scrumptious southern fare, a live band and dancing, and the Run for the Roses on the big screen. Horseracing themed games, drawings and a live auction, old fashioned horseshoe pitching will round out the evening’s agenda and provide opportunities to raise money for Brookgreen Gardens.
